"Wisdom is the root that feeds the branches of our growth."
The Circle of Elders is our community of lay and religious leaders who serve as the spiritual bedrock of the Universalist Community of Hope.
Elders are the keepers of our history and the guides for our future, and we all benefit from the gifts of their deep experiential knowledge.
Our Elders provide vital mentorship to clergy and laypersons. They act as spiritual companions, sharing the "way" of our faith traditions and helping emerging and seasoned leaders navigate the complexities of ministry with grace, integrity, and the perspective that only time and experience can provide.
For an organization to grow, it must be deeply rooted. Our Elders anchor us in the religious traditions that supported our ancestors, ensuring that as we evolve, we take with us the foundational values that sustain us. Our Universalist Community of Hope Elders guide us in caring for our community, and in our vision for a resilient future.
The Circle of Elders actively support the health and vitality of our current community. Through their presence, they remind us that we are part of a long, sacred lineage of seekers and builders.
